symbol, the country code, city code, the phone number
and then press the SEND
or
YES key
- Instead of putting
your cell phone to your ear immediately, wait about two

pressing the SEND
or YES key and you
will hear your call go through
Receiving Calls
Callers from the US will need to dial "011"
followed by your SmartFree SIM card's
international phone number.
If callers have trouble reaching your
European-based phone number we can add a
US-based phone number that callers can dial
without having to worry about international
long distance carriers and plans. If a
US-based phone number is added to your SIM
card you would pay for the international
long distance instead of those calling you.
Supplemental Instructions
In some countries your cell phone may
not call you back unless you dial using your
cell phone's menu. After installing
your SIM card you will see an option called
CALL in your cell phone's menu. Select
CALL/ANRUFEN and then select DIAL then enter
the number.
On Sony Ericsson cell phones this can be
found under either Extras, or the Connection
icon. On Nokia cell phones
CALL/ANRUFEN is in the main menu, but on
Motorola you will have to look under the
OFFICE TOOLS or APPLICATIONS icon.
Checking Your Balance
- Dial "089" and then
press the SEND
or YES key
